garvey: mrsCould you tell me how much each of the rooms would be for a stay next year arriving Thursday 25th August 2011 and departing Wednesday 31st August?
Would there be any discount if we booked all six rooms? Monday, 30 August 2010 Guest: Alex and Ann Bever...: MrJust spent the weekend in Aviemore and stayed at Kila with Dave and Fiona, We intend having more time in Aviemore and will hope to stay at Kila. Dave could not be more helpful and is an excellent host very knowledgeable on the area and the accommodation was very comfortable with an excellent breakfast. Sunday, 22 August 2010 Guest: Carole and RogDespite arriving late had a nice welcome from Dave and Fiona.
Great breakfast and lots of good advice from Dave who has a great knowledge of not just the surrounding area but pretty much all of the Highlands!! Thanks for the tip about the road to Achiltibuie, it was just as you described, amazing and full of surprises at every turn! andy Sunday, 16 May 2010 Guest: GlasgowStayed for one night just after easter. Really friendly host with lots of knowledge. The highlight of this B&B is the red squirrels and other wildlife in the garden, my first time seeing red squirrels- sat watching them while eating the wonderful cooked breakfast. Really central location right next to the citylink bus stop and train station, great stay, the twin room was spacious with tv/dvd and wonderful ensuite, perfect size. definitely will be coming back. Tuesday, 13 April 2010 Burnham: Jackie, Nell and PoppyThis half term (Feb) was the 2nd time we have stayed at Kila. It was just as good as last year - in fact better as Dave went out of his way to help us find hired skies and also set up a surprise birthday cake for my daughter at the gorgeous hotel next door. You could not find friendlier more flexible hosts - we wanted to leave early to get on the slopes each day and they were really helpful re early breakfasts etc.
The 3 person family room was most comfortable and the whole place really warm and homely - right in the centre of Aviemore what could be better? As cheap as anywhere in the region too.
Thank you both! We will certainly be back and will spread the word. Saturday, 06 March 2010 Phil Smith: MrKila was just perfect for us - conveniently situated, comfortable and super breakfasts. Dave and Fiona were both extremely friendly, helpful and flexible. If you play your cards right, they have a lending library of DVDs for my six-year-old daughter. So we hope to be returning next time we're in Aviemore. Wednesday, 10 February 2010 Tim RoyleComfortable accomodation, huge scottish breakfasts, the best scenery in the UK any time of year, a fabulous pub next door, and even the English are welcome... Dave and Fiona are your fantastically weloming hosts and nothing is too much trouble, even when the boys come to visit. We always stay, and love it. Monday, 08 February 2010 Prunella and DouglasWe stayed at Kila over the weekend and I have to say I was thoroughly impressed. The accommodation was homely and comfortable and the proprietors were warm, friendly and accommodating.
We arrived early on the Friday morning in the hope of hitting the slopes early, however due to adverse weather, we were unable to do so and when we asked if we could check in eariler than originally planned, it was no problem.
Kila is ideally located with regards to local amenities, close to restaurants and bars, but there was no noise disturbance from the town at all.
I would thoroughly recommend Kila to anyone from families to singles. Everyone is made to feel welcome. Tuesday, 26 January 2010 Bernadette and William Cl...: A lovely stayThank you for a lovely stay in wonderful surroundings. The house is lovely, the breakfast set us up for each day for walking or snowboarding and our hosts dave and fiona were very welcoming - we have a baby and a dog and not everyone is willing to accommodate all four of us and our needs as they were.
We will be back to stay next time we are in aviemore. Monday, 25 January 2010 M Hickson: MrsMust say, sign looks very good. Makes me really want to visit you!! LOL
Having said that, have visited you many, many times and you are the ONLY place to stay in Aviemore.
Breakfast to die for!!!
